Late yesterday afternoon, Basketball Girl and I decided it would be a good idea to take Marcus and drive out to the ocean. (Homework? We don’t need no stinkin’ homework!)
We raced the setting sun all the way out there and arrived right after sundown, with the biggest orange moon I’ve ever seen rising on the eastern horizon. Unfortunately, our rinky-dink little cameras couldn’t do justice to the moon rise.
I love the emptiness of the beach at times like these. Here’s a lone tree along the road:
