I got quite a shock when I went over to water the bushes behind one of the apartments on our property and found this ominous-looking fungus. It looked like one of those alien life forms that grows quietly, out of sight, until it suddenly bursts out of its hiding place and starts eating houses and rolling over police cars and taking out bridges. I’m awaiting developments on this one. If our tenant turns up missing, that will be a clue.
