A Few More Things that Annoy Me

The word “proactive.” When did just being active stop being enough?
Spice jars with openings that are too small to fit a teaspoon or even a half teaspoon. Hello, spice makers! Hasn’t it ever occurred to you that all of us cooks are actually trying to cook with your spices?
The fact that when I think of really annoying things, I’m usually driving my car and am doomed to forget about them before I get a chance to write them down.
