Sunny knitted these socks in her handwork class at school, then wore them until she wore two giant holes in the heels. Then Basketball Girl quietly took them to HER handwork class and crocheted the two elegant rectangular patches you can see above. She gave the repaired socks to Sunny as a surprise present. Doesn’t that tug at your heartstrings? It certainly tugged mine.

That is super cute. I was sick yesterday and my sis made me cookies so sweet. Speaking of sweet, I have run out of all my candy you brought. Can you bring some more?

LOL @ Meg’s comment above regarding the candy you brought. I think we are due for a visit from Christine for sure. But you don’t have to bring candy. Just some stories about annoying things! Basketball Girl is really sweet for doing that. aww.

For myself, (living in a household with my husband and two boys), this sounds like something straight out of Little Women.
