Sunny made this bowl by hand in her copper-working class:
It took her many hours to achieve this shape by pounding a flat sheet of copper over a mushroom-shaped metal stake with a rawhide mallet. This is just the kind of thing I wish I had learned when I was at school. I don’t know why I feel better about sending my children out into the modern world armed with the ability to knit a sock, carve a spoon from a chunk of wood, and milk a cow, but there it is.

Now, here’s an idea, why doesn’t Waldorf set up a Senior Program for those of us that are Waldorf manquee. I’d sign up! mary
