Is a new bathroom off my sewing room, all for me. That’s right, I don’t have to share it with anyone–no dogs, children, or chinchillas, at least in theory.
My husband worked for months building this beautiful walnut and granite sink cabinet in his (very small) spare time. Every time I use the sink I will feel sorry for other people who have to use ordinary sink cabinets. He also chose the bathroom fixtures, managed the workers who did all the tile work and other cabinetry, schlepped the toilet up from Home Depot, installed the shower curtain, nagged the plumber until she finally showed up, and generally knocked himself out making everything just perfect. I really don’t deserve him.

happy birthday!!
Do you use the bathtub or shower? Do you get grubby doing your sewing and quilting? Tell us about your sewing room. That’s my favorite article to read (and view) in quilting magazines, other peoples’ quilting rooms. Your husband is very thoughtful. Bless his little heart! Happy birthday!
Thank you so much for replacing the photo of the cinnamon rolls. They were killing me every time I peeked in. Happy Birthday! Isn’t school a wonderful thing?
