By the dog groomer in Carlsbad, CA. Everything about him suddenly looks puny and ratlike except his head, which is enormous in comparison to his body and has a ridiculous little pouf zone on top.
I much prefer his matted sheep mode (which is also cheaper, since we do it ourselves with fingernail scissors.) But we’re slowly getting used to the rat-poodle look. At least it’s easier to wipe off the dirt now.

I love how he looks - what a great picture! we’ve had lots of dogs in the office over the last couple days. Yesterday it was Rosie, Shirley’s dog, who used to be that tiny thing in a box hidden away in Shirley’s cube. She was growling at everyone - it was so funny. And now Lilly, Ali’s parents’ maltese, is here. She doesn’t move around at all unless we give this stuffed animal dog of Megan’s to her to play with. It looks just like Lilly, which Lilly seems to take as a threat, so she gives it the death shake and everything.
