Here’s the project Basketball Girl worked on all weekend:
It’s a chicken coop for the chickens she and I hope will soon be living in our back yard. They can peck right through the wire on the bottom to get at goodies on the ground. Pretty impressive for an 11-year-old, no?

Christine, did you take the above photo of the chicken coop? I’m busy writing my 2nd book, tentatively called The Chicken Coop Chronicles. I’m looking for an image for the book’s cover and really like this photo. Is it possible to get your permission to use this photo for little or no cost? Thanks for any info. Cooper Gallegos
