We’ve all experienced the socks that disappear in the dryer, but we have a more serious disappearance on our hands. The underwear of a family member (who does not want his/her identity disclosed), which only a few weeks ago was stacked so high that it was hard to close the drawer, has gone on the lam. We’ve looked all over the house and it’s nowhere to be found. There’s a mystery story in this somewhere.
The usual suspect for any crime committed in our house is the dog, but it doesn’t fit with his m.o. He’s really only interested in food, although he will eat cardboard or aluminum foil if it’s wrapped around some food. He’s never eaten anything with a very high fabric content. So who is the underwear thief? No one knows.
